We have a Honda Trail CT70 in the barn in eastern, NC. It has been in the family since new. We are either going to rebuild it or sell it as is. Do you guys know of Honda Trail bike people that maybe interested in buying or I could speak with about rebuilding it?

Thank you,

Andrew

PS - The picture is color of the bike, not the actual bike.

Wow, that sure brings back memories. I would hold on to that one and get it running again. It has been in the family since new, keep it.

I had one of them for a while and moved up to a Honda XL125, also a great scoot.

I'll be interested to see how much it is worth.

That little thing is cool. I've got a friend that restored one recently.

...I really shouldn't be thinking about another project. :wrench: :bang:

I about crapped myself, the bike I learned how to ride on WAAAAAYYY back then. My dad thought he had it locked up but I was able to "get around" the ignition and ride it with my buddies who had "real" bikes (Hodaka, Bultaco) when I was 11 or so. When I got older and raced my Honda 250 Elsinore, we would put 110 kits on these with full race cams, stroked and running alcohol as our play/pit bikes back in the 70's.

I've been trolling for one for a few years but haven't found anything local worth investing the time and resources in. There are some on Ebay asking $1500-1800 as "barn finds", most I've seen actually sold were closer to 1200-1500 for a running bike but also saw one go for over $2k but it looked like it was brand new.

When you get it local, I'd love to see it...

I'd like to take a look! Let me know when a good time is.

I was thinking about getting a Honda Postie/Trail 90 or 110

I used to have a Z50 Monkey and a XR50

Being a grown up BMX kid they are fun to do tricks on.

In the early 1970's, I lived on the San Miguel Naval Communication Station Base in the Philippines. There was a motocross track in the back of the base. I was only 7 but I'd love to go and watch the guys racing the "new Japanese bikes" as well as the Pentons, Husqavarnas and Bultaco's

Later in High School I bought a Penton/KTM and tinkered with that.

Love old vintage moto cross.

that was the first motorcycle I ever rode way back when I was in second grade, with my grandpa. Brings back some good memories. Good luck.

CT70

Heres mine. After shopping for about 6 months i found this for a steal on Ebay of all places....for 750 registered and running. Most here in Cali go for about
1500-2000$ in close to this condition. I have seen them selling for 3-5000$ too though all original and restored.

Super Fun bike that is street legal, NO MC liscence required, and this year is a 71 and did not need blinkers either i have been told. Who ever gets it will have some fun for sure.

Dang. I guess I missed this one. I haven't been on here in a week or so. I am a Mini Trail fanatic. I used to have several but have thinned it down to just one '73 CT70. It is in awesome shape too. It is not a restoration, it's all original. Here is a pic of my boy, Nathan on it from back in '08.

Awesome pic of your kid on that Honda.

Here is a Postie that my friend has, only has 60 miles on it. He used to have two, both with almost zero miles. Offered to sell me one and I passed

just got a 75 Trail 90 and 69 CL90 this last weekend.....love em. (there is also a parts trail 90)

never had a bike in my life....damn it all, if I had when I was a kids it would have made understanding mechanical stuff easy......these are the Land Cruiser of bikes :)

the CL90 came back from Nam, only has 2200 KM's on it

Land Pimp,

That is a bad ass Trail 90 and I agree, they are the Land Cruiser of bikes.

People in Australia love both.
