Hold on to your 100 series, fellas, don't make the same mistake I did.

Didn't know FedEx delivers on Sunday, but it's awesome...slapped these on, i will replace the accumulators/globes, flush the AHC and sensor lift it sometimes this week. These wheels look good but on stock height, rub city. Mainly that one corner of the front bumper.

What size tires? And why do you need new globes? Source for the globes?

Got it off eBay, USA seller, but chinese made. I'll install it and let the forum know how it goes, i know a couple members here rewrapped theirs and it took a long time, i'm to lazy these days.

:popcorn:New chyna wheel go on? Any thicker than stock?

EDIT--- saw the other thread... looks good for $250

I've had that black china wheel for years. It is thicker and it is better. It was a lot cheaper in 2018.

Thanks - photos in the listing look like a very different color leather and yours looks like a great match, just don't want to get something that looks super out of place
I was a little apprehensive too but the actual wood and even leather match is spot on!

Inflation sucks, but can't complain for $250, yours held up well all these years? Got a pic of it now?

@FxFormat - where did you source the globes so quickly!

Oh i have functioning used globes from my customers who wanted to yank out AHC due to rust, they were low mileage and was working so i'll put those on and see how the rides are, mine's a little bouncy and i suspect globes might be bad. I'll put some working ones on this week and see how it goes.

Just curious, what did you pay for it back in 2018? I have a LC as well and was wondering how it would look in a LC as OEM is all leather.

from my diary. I was wrong it was 2017 and now over 60k miles on the steering wheel.

3/1/17 New steering wheel. 189$ and cheap ebay shifter. kept old wheel and
shifter in box

It is tempting, though, to consider upgrading to a 200-series. When I look at prices I don't see much difference between my perfectly sorted '07 LX and an '08 or '09.

Not a hundy but close. $170k 80 series.

Buddy helping me do my carpet, we're going to dye it black. I've always wanted to see what black carpet would look like in a hundy, i dont know if anyone has done it yet, so i'll be the guinea pig.

Perfectly mint carpet too, lol such a shame to mess with it, oh well.

First coat on, planning on doing 3 coats. This is what i'm using, fabric dye, mixed with warm water and that garden bottle spray thing.

Letting it dry a bit, then brush the fabric the other direction and apply 2nd coat

How tough was getting it all out? I've already started dying the brown sections of the interior to black, and thinking about a new carpet set/dying the carpet black.

Will the carpet dye rub off or run if carpet gets wet?

According to reviews on Amazon, no, so i hope that's the case. But i have weathertech floor mats anyways and i have no kids, and i don't water cross more than 2 feet deep so i don't see how water could get on it heh. Does look clean though, i'm digging the dark tone of the interior. Might do the headliner too.
