Cool build.. I see in some of your photos your crankcase breather pipe is still routed to your intake manifold.. its going to have be rerouted to go from the valve cover to a Pre-Turbo intake point.. otherwise you'll pressurise your crankcase.

I was actually trying to figure out how to reroute that, this is my first turbo setup.
You could just vent it to atmosphere via a catchcan if you wanted as well..

I can't remember if you posted this before or not,apologies if you have but what turbo kit are you running?
Vincent just noticed the link to your thread in the diesel section. looks like a very fun trip which I would be very inclined to do a well one day. I did notice in the photo of the intercooler that it s very close to your radiator and has a rubber pad between the two. That's a big no no in my opinion those back roads get very rough and you will have a hole in your radiator on the first leg of the journey. also it appears that your air cleaner to turbo inlet hose is very close to the exhaust housing of your turbo. any way you could reroute it? That silicon 90 will probably be seeing excess of 200 degrees for extended periods of time.
I am ready to use this cruiser and go on my journey. I have been planning and dreaming of it since I was wounded in Afghanistan and medically retired from the Army in 2013. I can't wait to travel through America, Alaska, and Baja in it. It is going to be really exciting.
Nice job building the storage compartment into the inner fender. Looks good.
The third compartment will be for utility parts like a recovery rope, jumper cables, etc.
Not that you need any more work.. but there's room for a forth compartment accessed externally, in front of the rear wheels.. I have a small cupboard in that location with an external door for storing consumables like brake fluid, oil, trans fluid, window cleaner, RainX, grease etc..
I don't think I can put anything there I will have to look, I have my second auxiliary 20 gallon fuel tank/skid in that general location.
Also I see you have your two Lightforce lights on the front of your bumper, centered. I wanted to mount mine there to, because I like the look, but I was concerned about restricting air flow, is that a concern for you?
Yes airflow was a concern.. but I've had no issues, and we've done some huge hill climbs and very long runs at high speed (for a 2H!) in quite warm weather.. its cooling without any issues. Incidentally I've also got an Engine Watchdog TM2 fitted (with the sensor on the back of the head) This provides an audible alarm at a preset temp.. a bit more peice of mind.
Generally.. the higher the better for a UHF antenna.. but with the antenna on the front I can judge the height of things before driving under something.. and our UHF is generally only used for road travel in a convoy or talking to Truckies. No need for any significant range.. not that you get much with UHF anyhow.
True, I have two 6.5" push fans on the front of the air-to-air intercooler as well, you think I would be good to mount them where you have yours? I love that location, it just aesthetically flows well.
I see what your saying about the CB and judging the distance, good point. I might put it up there, but have it a a 45 degree angle.
