thanks, makes perfect sense; cool link. I have several aquaintences who have worked and are presently working in Iceland, what a beautifull country you have. I am originaaly from Northern Canada, so the scenery is familiar. Is there a Bio program in Iceland, and if so how does it stand up to the temperatures?

Well since I got rid of the flu I thought I´d do a little work on the LC so I got the engine running, driveshafts in place etc. brakes will be next and then a splash of paint, no pics for now

Just put a coat of Gelcoat (styrene) on the molds for the flares, and as usual, pics

Used black Gelcoat.

just finished putting resin and glass fibers in the molds, will take them out of the mold tomorrow.

Yanked the flares out of the molds, now all I have to do is trim them a bit and mold them to the car

time for the update not much happening, just sanding and grinding things to prettyness

trying the front flare on for size, the other one that was on the car was a bit odd shaped and the front wheels have been moved forrward so the wheelwell was too big, had to weld a little something to cover it up.

took a pic of my dads E-150 that he had inside it´s 4x4 on 35" dana 44 in front and a Borg Warner transfer case.

...and yes that´s a CJ-7 there up on the shelf

well it does come at a price I can only have the car inside for weekends

but it was very VERY handy when swapping the body having all that space, plus the big hoist
