nope its a illusion (sp), the lower one is just Alot farther away, it is actually bigger then the top one.

And the results..

142 HP and 221ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheels
:D

By the time you figure in the power lost to the SM420/dual tcases/14 bolt I am easily at 220 if not more like 240 hp at the flywheel :)

And as for weight, 4260lbs..
MUCH lighter than I thought :)

I'll scan the sheets tomorrow :D

BTW, looks like Eskimo and 66FJ40x2 were the winners :)

I need addys ;)

Were you serious about a propane bottle? I need a third soooo bad! (or at least a usable fuel level gauge assembly...

You rock, Mace...

BTW, congrats.. those #'s are good!!
lol

I did not mean a forklift bottle, I meant one of the little green ones ;)

Although I might find something more usefull :)

I stopped at a bit over 4200. It was not making any more power.

BTW, with the 4.11's and 32 ish" tires 40 grand is 90mph ;)

I am actually wondering if the propane carb is limiting me..

IT seems like it hit 240hp (at the flywheel) and then no more power was created (although it looked like I was increasing boost.) that does not make sense..

Hmm..

Could very well be your cam flattening out also... If you're running a 425 mixer, the mixer isn't holding you back...

You could also just be getting outside the efficiency range of the turbo, and just pushing hot air into the engine... especially without an intercoooler.

More likely it is the cam.

the turbo is a T04. I am probably under the proper operating range of that turbo.. It is big..

Intercoolers are a waste of time on these motors..

get one of those downery HP cam's mine made about stock bottom end (with work) but above 3k & up it screamed!

I think I paid $160 about 5 years ago.

What are the specs of the cam that you are running?

Mark...

Bone stock ;)

That is one of the things I like so much about this mod..

As it stands I have a bone stock 82 FJ60 motor with unknown miles on it pushing almost as much HP at the rear wheels (through a SM420/dual mini tcases/14 bolt) as it was rated for at the crank when it rolled off the showroom floor..

Imagine what it could be with a motor that was built for a turbo..
