I wanted to share this. It's gets pretty intense rather quickly. Interested to hear your thoughts.

I did a little more digging on it. It appears that he snapped the passenger axle after the first hop and dislodged the distributer cap. That is why it wouldn't start. Can't verify this but it sort of makes sense.

He may have broken a passenger front axle shaft, not sure how many of those rovers have lockers up front. I guess they're available though. But dislodging the distributor cap? never heard of that one. Can't believe the guy standing there didn't have enough sense to tell the driver his wheels were turned the wrong way! Wow that was a hell of a roll, bet it seemed to thedriver like he was rlling FOREVER! Thanks for sharing the video- entertaining and educational all at the same time! Gary S

It doesn't matter who it is or what type of vehicle it is, it makes me queasy to see that, I feel for that person. I'm glad we all help each other out when we're on the trail. It's unfortunate these things happen sometimes.

I'm pretty sure he had a winch, and the spotter should have told him to use it.

That's a bit terrifying!

It's weird though, red shirt pops in the screen at .27, like there's an edit?

If you turn the sound up, at the end you can hear someone say"Why didn't he wait for the effing winch?"

I'd like to know what the outcome was, he had to have been injured.

Just watched this again. The link I attached is an edited version. The original that I had watched shows the guy in red walking up to help him. He was stalled and kept trying to restart with no luck and drifted to the point of no return.

The first time I watched it, I had no idea of the outcome and couldn't grasp the steepness of the incline until he started to roll. It was an eye opener as to how quickly things can go bad.

Thats a little like what happened to JT's runner years ago. I was passanger. We came to a stpp hanging by our seat belts. We only went 1/2 turn
