Registration was yesterday for Hundreds in the Hills 8, anyone local going out to Colorado?

Yep I’m planning on going ... my dad is talking about coming over from the UK so we can attend the event together.

Would be cool to see some TN Representsion out there!

Brett when are you planning on heading out?

i went 2 years ago, well worth it.

there was a convoy that convened from St. Louis all the way out there of folks from Boston, PA, Carolinas, etc.

I am planning to head out Tuesday afternoon or the latest Wednesday. I am still looking/planning, still on the high of actually getting a spot. What about you?

Not sure on the logistics yet. Tentatively thinking about him making the drive to Denver a few days earlier (he’s retired, I’m not!), and me flying out to meet him and the rig a day or so before the event

Not 100% set on that idea, but it’s an option if work is tight.

Ah wish I was going! I also went 2 years ago. It’s a great event. We are headed on a 3 week tour out west Tahoe etc and timing didn’t work out for HIH. Hopefully I’ll make #9...I’m jealous. Have fun!

I signed up for the following:

*Black bear to Last Dollar Highway
* Imogene to Ophir pass
* Clear lake to super secret

Some of these trails last 8-9hrs!

I think the last day we are going to explore out on our own, maybe hit up Telluride or Ouray

Can’t wait!

I did! I signed up for
- Clear Lake to secret on Friday
- California Corkscrew on Sat
- Black Pear to Ophir on Sunday.

I think we are heading to the Grand Canyon on Monday before taking the week to head back! Can wait either!

I’ll be the only other guy there with TN plates!

Epic bucket list trip in the books

Ended up doing Imogene Pass, Black Bear and Ophir.

Ouray, Silverton and Telluride is an amazing place. We ended up clocking over 3,500 miles. Got a few battle scars but she performed flawlessly. Every 4wd owner needs to get out and see Colorado, I know I'll be back to conquer some trails I just didn't get time to do
