most guys here run 2 alternators and 4 batteries, 24v with 12v winch motors, because they are faster running on 24v under load, but they fry everything when they cook.
its virtually winch racing here in some comps now.
I am sure it would be faster, but not sure how how it is good for. I dont think warn would recommedn runnign a 12v on 24v - otherwiase they would say "Run the 12V on 24V for faster winch ops!"

2 years is some good test time. Mine is a 12V system though - so not much help for me![]()
What modifications have to be made to make a Milemarker work that quickly? I know speed is one thing, but to get this speed is line pull sacraficed?
