We sold the Mini Van and bought a 2006 Land Cruiser. I am so excited. Here are some pictures.

I'm from Kansas City, well Overland Park. Not a lot of adventurous road around here, but we go Colorado often to visit family and friends. My wife and I have 3 boys and we sold the Honda Mini Van. We are really happy. It's a 2006 with 200,000 miles on it, the color is Thunder Cloud, one owner (a business) and runs really well. We bought it from the Toyota dealer near us. I can't wait to get to Colorado.

The maintenance records are incomplete, so there is no record of the timing belt being done and stuff like that. (I've already poured over the maintenance resources here. Thanks!) The antenna motor isn't operating. But other than that, she's a beaut!

I'll probably lurk more than I post, but I figured I'd at least introduce myself.

Welcome!

Welcome! Looks like the previous owner did a nice paint match on the bumpers/lower half of the doors. I've always wondered how it would turn out and I'm definitely a fan.

Great find, I'd baseline it if I were you, then look forward to 200k more trouble free miles. If you haven't seen it already, be sure to change out the heater-hose T's, they are one of the few known failure points on these things.

Welcome.

Assume you used vin # to check service history. I'd check around the top of Timing Belt cover for stick showing when TB was done. If you can't verify, get it done ASAP. The 06 with the VVTi engine is an interference engine, by all accounts.

The Carfax just returned some basic maintenance stuff and oil changes. There isn't a sticker on the cover, and the water pump looks like its been there a while. So its something I'll be doing soon.

I was going to say hello fellow Missourian, but then I looked closer. Oh well, Kansas is close enough. Welcome to the forum. I like Overland Park. I have a college buddy that lives there, nice area.

Welcome. Nice find. Join the Toyota Owner's site at Toyota Owners Official Web Site

Type the VIN into the site and you'll get the complete service history that was done at a dealer. i'll bet you'll find at least one timing belt service done. Even if one has been done, it may be past due for #2.

Congrats and Welcome to Mud! I have 3 kids and we still own a Honda Ody. I prefer the LC, but for long road trips in non blizzard conditions, the Ody is our first choice. Love the Thunder Cloud. Looks like the bumper is misaligned on the front drivers side?

Thanks for the link. That was very helpful.

Nice truck. From one new Kansas guy to another, welcome. I moved from Overland Park 4 years ago and I must say, it was quite the active place to live.

Nice. Welcome!
