Hello All,

I am looking for help with finding a drawer/platform solution that would be capable of storing my gear in my car while serving as a sleeping platform.

I have a 2020 HE Land Cruiser, and have removed the 60% side of my middle row (The 2020 HE LC does not have a third row). I saw that Goose Gear had released a platform on their website, but it seems like it is not ready yet according to a facebook message that I had with them today. The product is called:

"Toyota Land Cruiser 2008-2021 200 Series Second Row Seat Delete Plate System™ - Module Height Platform"

I am looking for a similar solution to this product - the Trekkbox would be awesome, but theres a rack that divides the middle row from the trunk space, which is not very convenient for sleeping, although I do like the rack.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks!

Thomas

I sleep on top of my arb drawers and second row folded down all the time. Just put an exped mat over the top and voila, you're done

Most all the drawer system will meet your needs. Try the air down gear up platform, the arb / Ironman/ dobinsons. Or the land shark. Any can do be used as a sleeping base, lots of materials, options, costs, and weights available.

Yeah, I might end up putting my middle seats back and using this. Ideally, I would like to keep more room open to store more stuff and remove the weight of the seats for a tiny bit better fuel economy, but thats pretty much offset by the drawer system.

<overland>bound has a custom sleeping/storage platform build on their YouTube channel you could review

Sorry, somehow missed that part. Would be simple enough to make a box to make it level with the drawers, even better than the seat. Pretty sure the Equipt 200 has such a setup.

Thanks for the link - looks like goose gear did something similar in the past!

Hit us up airdown! Sounds like we have just the thing for you!

do you make a middle seat (60 side) replacement?
We do indeed. We've sold a few 2nd row delete kits for the 200. I thought I took a few pictures of our test fitment in @Kyle Bell 's 200, but I'm not seeing them. Maybe he can pull one up. Suffice to say, yes, we've got that 2nd row delete framework completed and available.

As Andy mentioned, we have sold a handful of these kits. We have received good feedback on these: absolutely rock solid sleeping platform with a ton of storage space created below. These attach to the existing uprights, so they are pretty quick to install/remove should you ever want to go back to having the seat. If you are looking to go dedicated sleeper with a removed 2nd row, this adds a whole element of additional storage!

The picture below shows just a half-sleeper(with a wider support, I was too lazy to pull both seats out for the test fit/photo...) but we can offer this in just about any configuration: half, 60%, full sleeper.

This looks like it's perfect for what I would need!

Where can I find the platform exactly like this one? I see a few sleeping platforms on the air down website, and just wanted to make sure that I chose the correct one for the 60% delete of the middle row seat.

I also recognize that it's extremely unlikely, but any chance there is one with a full drawer that spans the entire length of the sleeping platform + the drawer system (drawer that runs from the middle row to the trunk space)?

Thanks!

Well that's great to hear! The seat delete and 60% sleeper aren't standard offerings, so we'd have to send you a quote for that one which we can easily do. This is something we can offer with a 3-4week lead time.

As for the very-long drawer to utilize the extra length under the sleeper.... that's doable... that would be a somewhat custom build which adds some cost/leadtime, but that's certainly feasible! That would be cool to have a monster drawer like that!

I would love to get in touch! What would be the preferred method for me to contact you all?

Thanks!
