Looking for info on this Vin # any help would be appreciated. I believe it's a 1966 US model but I did not have access to the frame code due to a winch plate covering it.

I keep track of all long wheelbase 45's in the 45 registry. The frame number is the same as the vin tag. Tell and show us more pics! That vin puts it right around 65, 66. Is it a long or short wheelbase?

Thanks for the info whitey45, I found it on the side of the road last night when I took a wrong (maybe right) turn. Tracked the owner down today and am trying to make myself part of the 45 club. Overall the truck is pretty rust free other than the drivers floor board and one of the sills that goes across the underside of the bed and a few spots on the bed and tailgate. It's a long bed with an F motor and 3 on the tree but has been converted to propane, no gas tank and has some other funky stuff going on with the wiring, heater, lights and lots of other "ranch repairs". He says it runs but has a leak in one of the propane lines so I can't verify the condition of the motor. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the information, hopefully this all works out and I don't get kicked out of the house for dragging another cruiser home.

Nice find! 2 digits off from Dogwalkers 45. What is that contraption in front of the master cylinders?

It's part of the propane set up, there's definitely some "stuff" going on in the engine bay.

According to SOR's FJ45 frame chart February 65 started with 22225. March 65 started with 22628. So 22466 would be February 65. Not sure I've seen a 66 with a inlet vent that the louvers we're on a forty-five degree angle.

L is for left hand drive. FJ45LP-B is a long bed and FJ45LP is a short bed. If that doesn't help you post a picture of the truck.

That is a SWB short wheel base. It has the bed that is rounded like the FJ40. The original truck in this thread is a long wheel base. Cab is the same on both.

SWB = short wheel base.
Look how much longer the OP's bed is than yours.
