I've made the decision that I need to sell my 2003 100 series. It has been sitting in my Garage in my house in Arkansas for the last three years and only being driven a few miles a month just to keep things Lubed and working. I've been working overseas for the last few years and don't plan on coming back any time soon, so I've decided to sell the 100 so I can outfit my 200 here (wife and kids have decided the trips in my LC76 are to rough and loud for their tastes).

I could use some help in figuring out a fair price to sell it. Kelly Blue Book gives me a retail price of $15.5k, but of course that is without options. So here are the details:

I'm the second owner, and it has about 100,000 miles on it (can't remember if I've crossed 100k yet). It has BIO front and rear bumpers (rear with tire carrier and ladder), has metal tech sliders, BIO skid plates, OME lift, Nito 295/70/18 tires, Lumar ceramic window tinting, and some other minor stuff.

It has some "speed stripes" from the shrubs of Moab, but otherwise the exterior is in good shape. I've been running only synthetic engine oil in it since I've had it (about 20k miles). It has already had the timing belt replaced.

Here are some photos:

KBB is rather useless when it comes to these rigs. I would say that your truck stock would bring $17K at 100K miles assuming service up to date and very good condition. Add in your mods and I'd venture to guess $20K - $22K to the right buyer. Good luck w your sale and post some pics of your 200!

RND1 is pretty spot on-

100k miles, Southern vehicle- if clean interior and properly maintained- $17-18k is fair & reasonable: + the armor you have front & rear i'd start at $22 +/-

Good luck

I'd agree with $16-18k for the base vehicle, but I think the add ons are worth slightly less than some of the previous posts.

By my rough guesstimate the retail value of the (new) bumpers/carriers/sliders/lift/skids is ~$6000. I'd value them at about 1/2 that on the vehicle.

I get a slightly lower ~19-21k

Id buy from a guy who keeps it at a house he hardly visits. Looks a like a nice truck. Hope somebody here picks this up. Good luck.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. It's really a tough decision, for only ~20k-ish I'm tempted to just keep letting it age in my garage and use it when I go home for the summers.

As far as service records, I do have them all, but there is really nothing to those, just oil changes and regular maintenance (break pads, etc). I think the only non-maintenance item is I replaced the starter about 2 years ago.

The interior is in good shape, the car has almost always been garaged. The right front passenger window needs some minor tweaking, but I would probably get that taken care of before I sold it. It also is wired for an escort radar detector, has an aftermarket rear-view (and front view) camera, and has a parrot Bluetooth wireless system for phone calls and music.

But I doubt any of that is going to Jack the price up anymore than what you guys are suggesting. So I guess it's time for me to do some soul searching.

Sell the 200 and bring the 100 to Saudi for the fam. Used clean 200's in KSA are getting very very good prices on the market. Once you're done in KSA, ship the 100 back to the US, as you've already got US tags for them.

I thought you were unable to import vehicles over 5 years old into KSA.
