HELP Needed AHC 2010 LX570 (2 Viewers)

Desperately needing some guidance

I changed all 4 globes on the car in the low position and now it won’t come up from Low position and the “check 4 wheel AHC system” comes up. That comes after the cars AHC motor has been pumping or priming for about 35 seconds. Scanned the car with tech stream and it reads code C1763. Cleared the code and the same thing happens again. I went to all 4 corners and relieved any pressure from the bleed nipped and still the same problem persists. I tried to raise the car with tech stream utility function with no success.

To note that I used OEM fluid and OEM globes. And watched the YouTube video for guidance.

Previous to this I bleed the system to see if I could get away with just bleeding the system instead of replacing the globes.

A little history of the car:
I bought a 2010 LX570 with 117K on the clock. Car had a bumpy rear ride so the previous owner changed all 4 shocks with OEM components. Still bumpy ride.

Any advice or recommendation is welcomed. I am completely puzzled.

Yes I bleed the 4 bleed nipples but that did not bring the car up to Neutral position. Yes I maintained the level of fluid at the appropriate level.
I was thinking that I might need to bleed the Suspension Control Pump Accumulator just need to find it. I think it’s on the drivers side.

For grins pull off a battery cable and let it sit for a while.

The fifth one is behind a shield beside the exhaust on the driver's side. You can loosen the shield from the three bolts for easier access but it isn't necessary to remove it completely.

I did this as well for over 8 hours, still same problem.

I have had this problem twice - once with fluid exchange and another with globes. The trick that worked for me was to hit the height control switch as soon as the truck started before the AHC check happens. This forces the pump to cycle.

Did this as well and it still the pump keeps cycling and the code comes up. Also the truck stays in low position does not even come up a little bit.

Seems like C1763 is specific to the Right Rear Corner position sensor. What have you done to rule that out?

Good thinking. Never got that code so I did not think to replace it. Any thoughts? Should I disconnect it and connect it again?

You referenced that code in your original post, but I didn't see anything about troubleshooting the position sensor specifically. The TechStream live data makes it look like its getting a reading, but if you got the code, I'm sure there is a reason.

I meant to say that I did not get the code for the right rear position sensor.

Lots of good AHC info in my build thread (link in signature). Dealt with similar problems and same error code. In my case it was air in the lines.

Yes it's next to the muffler, around the middle of the truck on the driver's side

In techstream clear the error, then go to test AHC and try cycling a front corner up.

How many times have you let it cycle so far? I assume this is a stretch, but I’ll throw it out there. The two times I’ve done a bleed/flush, it has taken a good 3-4 cycles before I notice any movement and then a few more before it really gets back to normal. I could see with actually changing out the globes that you may need even more cycles than that since more fluid needs to be pushed into the system.

I’m not 100% sure this is right, but in my experience If when you hit the raise switch, the system Is only pumping as long as the dash indicator has the flashing up arrow. Once the arrow stops blinking you should restart the truck and try again. It’s possible you may get a check AHC error, but that’s not a big deal and will clear on restart. Also the trick mentioned before about hitting the button before the system has a chance to check does get it going if you are in a cycle of the AHC check error.
I know a few people in this thread have already changed their globes, maybe they can chime in on how many cycles it took. I could be totally off base.

Now I’ll add the caveat, that I wouldn’t want to be running the pump dry or against pressure and burn it up. So evaluate my suggestion at your own risk.

Also, I need to do this soon, so following along intently.
