Hi all,

Maybe this should be posted in the for sale section but I would like to get some local advice. Been looking for a 40 ever since I went with Ed to the Cleveland OHV area and there are way too many choices out there for me to process. I thought some of you might be familiar with these rigs and could comment on them. I would mainly use my 40 for trails and local cruising. I’ve read the 40 faqs and am up to speed somewhat on the model years and what to look for. Any feedback on these cruisers or any others that are for sale would be appreciated. Would like power steering and disk brakes, not really sold on a v8 or the 6, about the only thing I can’t live with is a 3 on the tree – for some reason my brain & foot would not process those shifts.
I would like to stay under $7000…unless I get canned before I buy one and then my price limit increases to $15,000 since I will soon be declaring bankruptcy, moving to Mexico & obviously in need of more reliable transportation.

1) this is a twofer but I only need one – anyone else in the market?

4) This one started at $10,000 now down to $8500 but looks like it hasn’t moved in a while and it’s more than I want to spend

Thanks

your questions are kinda vague and all over the place, I would reccomend finding one you like and posting back up with any questions you may have.

ps and discs can be added, personally I like 72-75 because it is presmog but it has the later design, axles, etc that can be altered to fit discs and minitruck birfs.

my next 40 will be a 75 because of the later model accents and the above reasons.

best of luck.

Noah
