Last Sat I had to replaced all the 3 belts, once i removed the skid plate (metal plate) I found leaks :crybaby: I took pic of it.Can anyone of you let me know is it really bad or something that i have to remove the bottom portion of it?
Is it just the seals or what i gotta to do now? it hurts... :frown:

Thank you all.

It doesn't appear to be the front main. I vote for timing cover or oil pan.

Landtank its not sloppy oil change :flipoff2: all the fluids and oil change did perfectly no rookie job here :)

Well, I've been doing oil changes since 1974. That doesn't make me an expert, but I've got a damp spot down there as well. No matter how may rags I jamb under the filter some gets away from me.

Oh by the way she had 188K miles on it :frown: could be the seal? but which what seals?

So how many miles are you going before adding another quart of oil?
By the way mine looks the same.

As advised clean engine thoroughly and see for yourself where the oil is coming from. Doing anything else is just inviting people to guess, which is not anywhere as useful as you seeing for yourself from where the oil is originating.

There's no oil on the back of the balancer.

Change your oil to RotellaT 5w40 syn oil and and watch your oil leaks go away.
At least it did on mine.
Get a can of Gunk engine cleaner and clean that motor!

Thanks Kurt and everybody else i'll certainly do that -Gunk and clean it and from there i be able to see where the leaks from...

leaks

i had the same leak in my truck. took it to my mechanic .
this is what he did... "remove radiator, fan, belts, crankshaft pulley. remove oil pump cover and replace gasket. install new crank seal."
parts: gasket, seal. $26.47
labor: $210.

no more leaks

If it is the oil pump gasket, Rotella or anything else wont fix it other than a new gasket.
If its the pan or timming cover that seaping, the Rotella might stop it.
