This is a very low mileage (<20K) 2018 LX 570. It has a VERY clean exterior/interior vehicle but it is in the Boston area. What is "normal" rust? There is definitely some rust here, but I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not. I guess I'm a little surprised with the rust given the very low average annual mileage, but again, I'm not sure if this level of rust in the areas that it is should be a concern or not. Please weigh in!

You're in the wrong forum. Post that in the 200 Series Tech forum and you'll get some good responses.

As a rule: Don’t buy a truck you want to keep from heavy salt using states. I’d pass and I didn’t even look at the video.

This is "good" condition for a salt state.
But you are in Utah so why going to all the trouble getting this one instead of hunting one on the West coast with a lot less rust. Is the price so good that you cannot pass? Yes, 20k is low milage but these trucks are known for long life. I would trade some miles for less rust.

Looks normal for a 6 year old New England vehicle. Living in Maine, I’d be fine with that level of rust on a vehicle I’ve owned for 5 years. But I definitely wouldn’t be starting my ownership at this level. Hard pass for me.

Perfectly normal for a ~6 year old Toyota truck in a winter climate. I wouldn't bat an eye on that level of rust.
