Help identify this noise! It sounds like bubbling, or like a scratchy gargle like my engine has Covid or strep throat, only comes on when engine is hot, and only when I’m accelerating while moving. Doesn’t happen when accelerating while in neutral, and happens consistently once engine is warmed up. Otherwise runs great, no complaints, burns a bit of oil, and oil pressure also drops when warmed up.

Try running a tank of premium fuel in it, see if it stops with premium fuel. If it stops, its probably pinging/ detonation.

If it doesn't stop within a few miles of putting premium fuel in it, dump the oil and check for sparkly bits. Collect oil in a clean container.

If there's nothing obvious in the oil, send an oil sample of to Blackstone for a health check.

Avoid driving it.

Mine made a similar noise when the bottom end failed. It was subtle when it started. I thought I had an exhaust system leak when it first happened.

Mine eventually became a hard knock that was clearly not the exchaust system. By then, I had a catastrophic failure

It’s been like this for about 6 months or so, it drives good, not noticing any vibrations anywhere or loose joints. It doesn’t sound urgent or isn’t decaying or getting worse, so I kept driving it.

Where was the catastrophic failure in your truck? Was your issue progressively worse? Thanks for the tips, I have no metal in the oil

All the above.

On my speakers I can barely hear a slight rumble??

One trick, if currently using a low weight oil (5W-30), try 15W-40 to see if the noise changes.

Never use a cheapo (WIX) oil filter, Toyota filters are probably safest.

Some oil pressure drop when the engine/oil is warm is normal, your oil pressure needle moves with increasing rpms (normal).

Your temperature needle indicates the engine is not up to operating temp (or it's defective), did you take the video right after
starting driving on a cold engine?

One other thought, have you greased the U-joints, slip yolks (driveshaft), and steering knuckles (cavity)??

Post up a photo of the swivel balls/knuckles (either end of front axle).

Mine started making noise about 5k after replacing a blown head gasket.

My failure was a cracked crankshaft and totally destroyed main bearings.
I'm sure the crank was cracked from the head gasket failure.

The noise was barely noticeable at first. I thought it was maybe a leaking exhaust manifold.

It occured noticebly more oftem, intermittently over 2-3k km, before it became an obvious knock almost immediately and was taken home on a flat bed truck

Main take away here, my noise seemed really minor, but it was due to shot main bearings
