Good evening gents!

After months of lurking around the forums, going back and forth on gx's, 4runners, and 100's, I finally decided and picked up a 2001 landcruiser.

I recently got rid of a mildly built fjc. Loved the thing, but with a second addition to the family ( little girl), the room wasn't working out.

I've had an 80 for about 4 yrs now. It has been everything from my dd to my wheeler and after all the stuff I've put the poor thing through, I am a firm believer in landcruisers.

So I picked up this 100! I actually got the lead on it from a Craigslist ad someone posted on the forum here. ( thanks guys)

2001 with 136000 on the odo. Timing belt and water pump already changed and runs smooth as silk.
Arb front bumper with a tmaxx 9000 winch. Ome lift . Remote start.
Couldn't be any happier!

So just saying hi because y'all will be seeing a lot more of me!

Congrats! I just started looking for a 100 also. How does it feel driving compared to the 80 and Fjc?

^ My initial thought is that he's missing a 0 - good looking rig, what did you pay for it? If you don't mind my asking.

It rides nice and smooth :D

YES! Definitely a typo! 136000 miles! Although since Friday when I bought it i have put a little over 1600 miles on it already....

I really enjoy driving it. I was skeptical because I did like the way the fjc felt zippy around town.
Basically it feels like the 80's big brother.(duh)
Still the heavier feeling but smoother and nicer.
I'm really enjoying it.

Already had to lift with the torsion bars and remove the running boards!
Thanks guys

Thank ya!

Now i just have to figure out what size tires to go with! These little 265's are about worn out...

Then I noticed there is a 2nd battery tray, but I don't see any of the wiring for it....hhhmm but there clearly was a battery there before.

Anybody know what the extra 3 plugs come out of the factory harness are near the 2nd battery tray?

Has your windshield wiper reservoir been relocated?

Not entirely sure?

You can see the clips on the left side of the tray, and it comes from the loom on the right side of it.

Oooooh I see. Gotcha.
Now to see if they had that second battery hooked up or what. Not seeing anything that looks like thick power cables.

I was able to pick it up for $10200

And no sir. I work in North Dakota. That's where the pictures are taken... But the po said he worked in ak,and it has ak plates.
