i don't have a heater in my 40 and its dang cold in dallas now and its needs one now. I have one in my garage i can use but i dont have a heater valve. Can i put my heater in and not have to use a heater valve? would this mean only that every time i pull my fan knob i would get heat all the time?

If you don't care if it's stock or original, just go down to NAPA or any other parts store and get an inline ball valve with the right size inlet and outlet pipes. I think it cost me five bucks and works great. It looks like an inline hose bib with a knob you either screw in or out.

i could care less about it looking stock. I'll head down to napa.

And let there be HEAT! I had no idea that driving your 40 in the cold with a heater is so much more pleasant. She cranks out some sweet heat and its not buring but perfect. I actually wore shorts to work today cause it was so warm.

Next question would be the front defrost? How do i defrost my windshield?
