Getting ready to flush the radiator and start replacing the hoses. I have seen pics of the hose group above the engine along the fire wall and noticed mine is quite a bit different

That hose, the FHH line; is much longer than anything that I have seen. It drapes directly down onto the engine and is pulled back by that loom.

The rear heater has been bypassed and has a cap on that line so what am I looking at to fix this?

They just abandoned a piece on the delete

Grab the U shaped hardpipe from a partout for cheap. Cut that line and add the U. Trim to fit like oem fashion.

Here is a view with the heater hose plugged off. The hose running into that T also needs replaced by the looks of it so I will need to track that one down as well.

Mine is the same way from the PO. If you tackle those hoses going into the firewall directly behind the head, good freaking luck. That was the most frustrating thing I have ever done on a vehicle. Took every bit of 8 hours, multiple cramps and falling out of the engine bay once. I only wish it had been my PHH leaking that day.

Just grab a length of hose to go from that firewall outlet to the hardline heater return pipe on side of head. Eliminate the T and source of leaks and replace two lines at once.

Does anybody know the part number for that U shaped pipe? Looking at a parts diagram, the number comes back to a T shaped pipe.

87248-60480 on a 1996

The molded Gates 90° hose from the the U pipe to the firewall is a 28467

Thanks for the help on that! Is that the green strip hose or would it matter? Also, would there be a direct replacement to eliminate 87246 A and B so I can remove that capped off T pipe? I would love to put the rear heater back into service, I just don't think it's feasible with how the heater pipes looked and not knowing how long it's been disconnected.
