Recently replaced PHH, thermostat, radiator, water pump, fan clutch, and radiator cap, and refilled with Toyota red and i noticed that I started to leak coolant soon after.

Can anyone help me out with the part numbers for these hoses?
If I'm not mistaken, one is 87245-60340 (correct me if I'm wrong)
The other one, all I could find was 87246C labeled on a heater hose diagram.
Also anyone know why it the new parts would cause this? I'm thinking that my radiator cap was faulty since I would occasionally hear bubbling after shutting off the engine and the new cap probably held the pressure and sprung leaks elsewhere.

Thanks for the help

That hose shouldn't be there in the first pic, someone cut your pipe. The rear hose is correct but looking at the clamps it's probably never been replaced, so it's due.

What year is your truck? 93 - 94?

Makes a difference on P/N.

I didn't know there was a difference between 93-94 vs 95-97 but I looked at the EPC and there is. The front hose part # is 87245-60490, the rear is 87245-60490. The solid pipe like in my 97 is quite expensive so I would just replace the hoses.

What do you mean? It's a formed hose that looks like it fits perfectly. And it's shown on the attached diagram

It is a 97

that second hose next to the firewall is expensive like $70 , so I went to the autoparts store and matched the curvature and cut the portion that I need to replace it

Looking at his photos i think it's a 95 to 97. No Pair air injection valve or tubes in the photo and the throttle cable metal bracket is different on the 93-94 too, it's attached to the top of the pair valve housing.

The rear hose is 87246B according to your diagram.

The front hose is 87246C according to your diagram.

However, when I go to search those, I don;t get anything useful.

Do what @skhochay did. Go to your local FLAPS and find a hose that's close and cut out the section you need and install with new clamps.

I took the P/N from there and pasted into Rockauto and got this. You can try something similar. Don't use the dash between the P/N.

Aloha! I know this is a 4 year old thread I'm resurrecting, and it's only because I'm having similar hoses leak. Does anyone know the size of these hoses so I can order them?

I'm specifically looking at the one in the second picture of the OP. There's another hose directly behind this hose, which goes into the firewall, that I also will need to replace. Third, there's a hose that also goes into the firewall behind that valve check thing (which I replaced last year) that appears to be similar in size, but I also will need to replace.

All help is greatly appreciated.

The rear most hose in that line has a T connection and can be purchased from Toyota as an Assembly; first 5/8" ID hose (circled above)-T-rear 5/8" hose going to the firewall (main heater core). You can order that from any Toyota dealer parts professional.

Coming off the bottom of that T (not included in the assembly) is a smaller ID pipe for the rear heater core. That hose would be 1/2" ID, but is not available separately. The substitute would be a GATES 90 degree 1/2" ID heater hose, you would have to search for that part. If you wanted an OEM Toyota hose
there is hose from another vehicle that will fit, you just have to cut off the part you want.

Part number pending

Thanks for the hose sizes. Much appreciated. I have to pick my battles in terms of my budget. New idle pulley & tensioner from Mr. T, check, new hoses cut to size from elsewhere, well, this is why I keep extra hose in the bin in the cargo area in the back.

Jumping in on this one I just had a full rebuild, new block, new radiator, fan clutch, water pump, everything I can think of but somehow missed replacing that lower hose in the photo. After the rebuild it had a very slight leak in mine as well. I tried replacing / tightening the hose clamps which almost fixed it but still had a slight seep. It appears that maybe there's higher pressure in the system now that it is operating like new again and the hose is definitely hard -- it just isn't able to seal like it could before.

I replaced it with bulk 5/8" heater hose and boom problem solved.
