Headlight options for 06

I am trying to keep the style of my car as clean as possible, and looking at the car from the front looks as if headlights are a sore thumb. The black and grey color combo does not go great with a bright white headlight IMO.
What are the options that I have to make the headlights looked "smoked" or darker without losing brightness?

A projector retrofit will allow you to gain light output greater than stock while the same time allowing you to paint the inside of the housing whatever color you desire.
