I am getting ready to do a projector retrofit on this 2005 Land Cruiser and have no idea whats going on. I think it may have 06-07 Depot head lights in an 05. It looks like maybe the previous owner trimmed 06-07 headlights and bent the metal trim under the headlight to get them to fit??

I need to order different Depo or aftermarket headlights as there is some irreparable damage to these unrelated to what ever fitment issue is going on prior to retro fitting. Will any aftermarket 1 piece headlights marked 99-05 work for my truck? What are people using for retrofit headlights in 2025?? I was planning on using these but not with the condition they are in.

Note that the metal trim piece under the headlights does not unscrew and pop off, its permanently affixed. Videos I have watched show this as a removable part.

Yea someone before you did some monkey tweak on the panel to fit the wrong Depo lamp on your 2005 LC. You need to source pre 06 LC lamps and bent the panel back and fix the rust should be all good.

Thank you, yeah I kind of figured that out was just thrown for a loop when I pulled them out.

Is the trim piece below the headlight supposed to come out? It does not on this truck.

I ordered these lights this morning so hopefully they will fit right and I can repair the bent panels. From my research it appears they are made by Depo for USR.....we'll see I guess.

Looks like those will work.
