So having followed the excellent threads on here on the HID retrofit, I recently completed the upgrade with the Morimoto H7s.
All went well. However, having checked height alignment I decided to add the Halo ring to the front and then buttoned all the glass back up.... without double checking clearances again
Long story short, I can't get the height correct as the front of the halo ring now touches the inside of the glass cover.
I'm not terribly keen to open them up again if I can help it, so was thinking of modifying the mounts to try and angle the whole assembly up a bit.
Anyone else tried this? Should I even be considering it?
