Header gaskets

I have a exhaust leak on my 80ish 2f. Someone put headers on it I am scared to pull the headers due to past experiences with studs snapping off in the block. ( I had a 78 bronco when I was 16 that i snapped off 8 studs in the block) Is this a problem with the 2f? The studs look fairly large so Im hoping they wont be an issue. Should I quit being a wuss and do it or just live with the leak?

no pull it. take your time with the studs. spray them a couple of times before you do the work. dont just keep turning till they snap. work them back and forth. its going to take time, but will work without snapping them.

If you do pull it then I would reccommend this as your new manifold gasket. You won't find a better gasket that eliminates manifold leaks.
