Head Stud Kit

I am having problems finding a head stud kit. According to ARP they do not have a kit for the 2F/3FE.

I am thinking about trying to find individual studs. I just need to know the specs.

Anyone?

Are you looking for the valve cover studs, the manifold studs, or the side cover studs? Or all of them. You can buy them from SOR, or take the old ones in to a hardware store and match them up. I have a set of the 4 valve train/cover studs if you where interested.

They replace the head bolts when bolting the head down to the block. I was looking for a head stud kit... but i was told it is no longer available ... so i wanted to make my own with the proper spec studs.

ARP will make custom studs. They have a document describing all of the measurements they need from you.

I dont think you could get the head on with studs. firewall would be in the way.

I don't know if they will do this for custom stud kits but ARP broaches at least some of their head studs so that they can be removed with the engine in the engine bay. Picture: ARP Automotive Racing Products The very back ones might still be a problem in a 60/62 though.
