So when ordering fusible links from you, do you need the date of manufacture to confirm what the customer would need, or what?

Good question and im glad you asked this because of the 2 different part #'s that i know exist on this topic , and so far we only have 1 of them , the 90982-08266

- the 90982-08266 has only 2 fusible links ...

- the
unknown part # above has 2 fusible links , 1 of witch has the RING Terminal on the end ?

- i typically i rely on the client or land cruiser owner operator to simply let me know what exact parts they need , but if you are un-sure , please PM me photos or you can post them here of course and i will try my best to assist and meet your needed parts needs ...

- this is what i do , and this is how i do it ....... :)

- again , thanks for asking that important question , because the entire land cruiser fusible links topic , is filled with complex TECH , when it comes to proper identification ,
especially when Toyota has NLA / Disc. so so many of what we all need more then ever it seams from simply age and time ....

Does anyone happen to know what the gauge of this wire is for a temporary fix?

Thanks for the quick reply, Dusten. The bad link is green wire in the photo above coming off the battery on the left hand side if you are sitting in the driver's seat in a LHD truck. I say it this way because my truck is a RHD to LHD conversion.

The links on the other battery, all four of them, measure fine--no material resistance.

The gauge of the green wire is pretty fine, so I'd think it probably is the 1.25.

That's a 16 gauge.

Are the wire colors enough to identify what I'd need?

Today is my planned day to hand-craft a slew of HARNES Side Repair Pigtails..

Was wondering if anyone had a moment to confirm the correct OEM color coded tracer stripe wires and if the gauge size spec. could be determined ?

I can calculate it if the millimeter gauge JIS specs were still legible ?

Here is my supplies ….

My typical anything fusible links harness side repair leeds / wires is always 12-16” , no less

Hello, i have a late 1992 HDJ81-RNPEX and ordered the replacement fusible links above but the parts is slightly different from what was installed on my vehicle despite being the same part number. The part I received lacked the 1.25b fusible link which on my factory FL had it attached as an assembly. The IPB shows that also, as three FL in one assembly. Is this unique to my year or am I missing something? I tried the single FL (90982-08265) in place of the 1.25b and it started to smoke upon start up so I quickly shut down. Here is what the factory part looks like and also what it looks like in the IPB.
