Thanks guys I/we appreciate your support and am glad you are following along.

I am burning the “midnight oil” right now, well not exactly but after hours none the less.

Not much to show just been block sanding a lot. This may be the last skim of filler though before the next primer layer.

Block sanding for days, more skim coats of filler and more block sanding. Another coat of 2k primer extra thick, more block sanding.

*sigh*

Not sure why I am getting this agro on level of detail when I just plan to wrap a bunch of the body anyways! 🤦‍♂️

Cheers

Oh ya, we chemically stripped these body panels too, only parts not touched yet are doors.

Sill working on these plus need to do doors but we are going to bare metal on everything and ya it’s a friggin’ ton of work! 😐🤌

About there on the hood, ready for a thick coat of primer and block sanding to 400g.

These are the best doors I own so running them.

Love that hood.

I like that you retained the inner finder wells.
Clean work as always!

Thanks man.

As can be seen we played with modifying the stock inner fender briefly to clear the 38’s, 42’s actually.

Just didn’t like how that was playing out so quickly went to using some 18g sheet metal to get where we want. Outer fenders we are just sectioning a certain amount out of them to match inner and welding back. This will also work with stock fender flares although a bit of trimming on them too.

Unfortunately it was going to take to much work and metal removal for me to clear the 42’s at full stuff. So 38’s I don’t really need to drop bump stops much but to run 42’s I definitely will need to drop bumps down.

I don’t think we need to trim any in the back of the wheel well. That’s not the norm and is all due to moving the front axle (suspension/steering box) as far forward as I could.

Cheers
