Hi,
new to this forum and would like to introduce myself first. Im Tobi, 26 from Germany. Working as a Roughneck I should have enough time building my 80 series.
This is it, a 92 HDJ80. Currently has 247k (km). No rust :) Never seen winter. Underneath is coated in wax.
Im planing of changing the interiour and a tranny swap. Thats the only thing which bothers me, the AT.
Its running on 33's with a 2.5" custom lift from Delta and Eibach shocks.
It will stay a two seater cause of the low tax and insurance I can now pay. 172€ Tax per year and 334€ Insurance a year ;)))

I will keep updating this thread when ever I have time or worked on my Toy.

Things I would like to do:
  • Roofrack
  • Front/Rear bumper (maybe)
  • Interiour
  • Caster kit
  • Tranny swap
  • Paint (Candy red to black and black Monstaliner)
  • Leather on dash and door pannels
...more stuff will be added when I feel the need of more goodies :)

Back from the Rig and found a problem on my Cruiser. When putting the gear lever into D, the green light in speedometer keeps going on and off at no set intervals. After a while it stays on. Only happends when in D. Is it a bad connection? Where do I find the plug?

Back to another update.
Finaly got my rig back from the paint shop. Had to wait 10 weeks to get it painted, most of the time it was just sitting there and no work was being done to it. Got me so pissed off that I nearly drove it home even though doors and hood were not on the body.

Well, in the mean time I got around to buying this ARB rack for a fair price and it includes a 40W solar panel, 2x Aluminium crates and 2 pipes for water storage and an electrical pump so I can take a shower.

What it looks like now :bounce::clap:

I also need some help with my 8274 winch.

How do I unlock it? When I start pulling the metal hook, it starts engaging the brake.

Thats it for now.

i'm not 100% sure but i think all you need to do is pull that black knob above the brake drum out and it will disengage the brake...

Nice looking ride too...
