Look how Ironman 4x4 is addressing recovery points!

They are grabbing a suspension bolt to provide some anti rotate forces and also to prevent isolating on those frame horns. Very interesting.

Definitely a unique solution.

For me, I think I would be hitting those on rock as they appear to extend quite far downward...?

My solution to stay high and tight was to smooth the inside edges of my ARB recovery points to allow safe (non-cutting) use of soft shackles. This gives me a minimum downward catch point and has been working well.

I do wish I could throw a hard shackle on there sometimes, but I’m finding this pretty effective. What’s annoying is...I am sooo close to fitting. I may simply add a couple heavy washers to move the recovery points just slightly downward... Meanwhile, soft shackles work.

Thanks for the post, as I’m glad someone is trying to address this common issue.
