I have some dents on my tailgate and some rust on my hatch around my license plate lights(anyone else have this???) and am thinking about pulling my wind deflector thingy and having the holes filled while I am having the back end painted anyway. Does anyone have a pic of a silver (the one from 00, not the newer one) with no wing thing and a roof rack?

I have a '00 LX470 that had a significant amount of rust underneath the weatherstripping of the upper rear door when I bought it in June. The dealer fixed this for me, under warranty. They told me this was a known problem for this model. Note that I'm in Canada and winters are long with lots of salt on the road.

I'm actually surprised how much rust the vehicle has, compared to my '95 LS400. Especially the AHC accumulator is really rusty. I had the LX470 undercoated recently. I hope this stops/retards some of the rusting.
