I've had an Iron man lift for about 4 years now. Foam cell pros were great and ride was amazing initially.
Wondering what the service life of these are? I'm at about 50k miles since install and my ride is not as nice as it was originally. But my problem could be suspension bushings. But the question remains: when should these be replaced?

How many miles on truck?

I replaced all my control arms in the rear and it made my truck drive so good.

Also check swaybar bushings.

I think I might have 80k miles on the shocks or more.

I'm at about 350k. 2000 LC. So i know it would benefit from the bushings. I just inspected them and they're ok. Not dire need to replace. Biggest question was just that of the shocks. How long do they last? I got one in the rear which has developed a squeak( pretty sure it's the shock). Just deciding if I should get in there and replace it, replace all of them, or just try and clean it and remount it.

I have a 104k miles on my FCP and can’t complain. They are a stout entry level shock that have held up very well to all driving conditions as well as the elements of NE winters. Zero issues, noises, failures, etc

I’d buy them again OR go all out on the high end dobinsons ... not sure anything in between the two would be that much better. I’m not cool enough to run King’s or icons but mostly bc I’m not interested in rebuilding / servicing shocks

I blew the fronts within 10K or so, self inflicted. Fronts collapsed on their own upon removal, I am very careful not to find MRR's limitations in the same fashion as I did with Foams. Foams are lovely shocks, I would buy again.
