Last part of work for the frame before sandblasting, metallisering, and EPOXY coat.... fitting a J6 steering house. It is a LX version but the OEM power steer has too many links.

While I used the car as daylight drive, I upgraded the front brake caliber, bolt on J8 12 valve fits perfect

Thanks, it is running with a 3B diesel and 5 speed gearbox. I'll be upgrading with a turbo charger and Intercooler.
Does it have the drum parking brake on the split transfer case? I bought a split transfer case from an '85 BJ45 for my '71 FJ40, but haven't mated it with my H41 from an '85 HJ47 yet. Except for 5th gear, it should have the same gearing as yours.

While the frame was out of the workshop, I used the space and time to renovate Bothe axels

No my hand braks are in the rear drums on the axel. I would expect the same as you mention

Very nice work!

Where in Denmark are you? My great-grandfather emigrated to the U.S. from Hjørring.

From the doner car I had a lot of ekstra spare parts, they where made ready for long time storage. I had a rusty problem on my anchor plates, but I found a UK web page where I could order new ones. The new anchor plats was also sandblasted and metallized. To keep the paint layer at a minimum I spray paint the plates on my own.
