Has Anyone Installed an Eezi Awm K9 Roof Rack on a 100?

I started unpacking and familiarize myself with all the parts. Instruction is not very clear. I wanted to get a few pointers from someone that has already tackled this install before diving into it.

Try an advanced search in the 100s section.

Can't remember if anyone posted pics, but there are those who have the Eezi Awn installed.

Also do a search for roof rack install. There's a number of good threads that will help you get started in removing the factory rack, etc.

Did you get it through Equipt? Contact Paul with them. Even if you didn't get it through him, he'll help you out.

Yes, I bought it from Equipt, Paul was gracious enough to contact me while returning from his Alaska trip. The rails that his company sent me was the correct length but it wasn't drilled for my 2002 LX. The only option is to drill the holes myself. Paul was very professional and indicated to make it up to me on my next purchase from his company.

I am going to finish it up tomorrow.

The rails that his company sent me was the correct length but it wasn't drilled for my 2002 LX. The only option is to drill the holes myself.

Under the plastic trimming on the roof are more bolts… perhaps a set that matches your rack?

Well it turned out that the rails sent to me were for Prado 120 or a GX. There was a misunderstanding somehow.

My buddy mechanic was able to drill new holes and lined everything up for a perfect install. Fortunately the rail length between the GX and LX was similar.

We mounted the bat wing on, I am super happy and ready to focus on prepping other areas for the trip on Wed.

The mount was an L bracket supplied by eezi awn.

Yes, that darn sprinkle just dirtied the rig.... And the humidity

How do you like? How's the wind noise with the sunroof? I'm thinking of getting one and was wondering.

I love the set up and the amount of shade that the bat wing provides. The wind noise is noticeable wth the k8 rack if you open the sunroof or even the sunroof shade cover. Eezi awn did supply a wind guard but I haven't installed yet.
