Has any one put a front mount intercooler in there HD 7x series? (1 Viewer)

Howdy
I'm turboing my fzj79 and the system will need a cooler , just wondering of other peoples ways of doin it . I won't have room for a high mount cooler as the turbo will be high mount

louis had an air to air intercooler in the front.

Use the front intercooler of an old 960 turbo volvo, put it between the radiator and the A/c condenser, works perfectly.

What size out let's do the Volvo ones have , on old hilux diesels mates use these really thin ones from big merc vans but the outlets are only 2" ish

had to chop the back of the lower grill out
plubing on drivers side will go under the headlight, there is plenty of room on the LH side it will go through the gap were if it were LHD the power steerbox would be there, i had to chop the powersteering line brakets and more them back and weld the brakets back on.
the lower metal grill under the plastic i will fab so it comes out and runs in front of the cooler and back should be good when done and painted , i might weld mesh in the front of the bullbar to just uder the spotties perch if i think it will get damaged easily but that will be later
