I was just going to ask for help, but I figured if there's any added info that could be contributed it could benefit others, too.

With my upcoming injector swap on my 62 that I'm hard pressed to get done this weekend, I'm discovering that the exhaust downpipe flange nuts and one bolt type used in mounting the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head are discontinued.

The nut is 90179-10070 : Superseded by 90080-17187 (thanks Onur)

The bolt is 90119-12069

For some parts relevant to our 6x series, specs that would help in finding JIS substitutions can be decoded from the part numbers. @OGBeno has a great post about this here: FAQ - Understanding Toyota Hardware Part Numbers And Other Part Numbering Thoughts - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/understanding-toyota-hardware-part-numbers-and-other-part-numbering-thoughts.1177159/

Unfortunately in my case, it seems these two particular parts follow a logic different from the legacy Toyota numbering that Onur describes, and without pulling the parts off the rig myself to measure them, I've hit a brick wall. So I'm hoping this thread can serve as somewhat of a reference for anyone either trying to find a substitution for a part, or that knows of a substitution or OEM supersession for a discontinued part.

The nut is 90179-10070 (this is just apparently under a supply shortage and hasn't been full stop discontinued)

The bolt is 90119-12069

The new nut number is 90080-17187.

Damn, you're fast! 😂

Do you know of a viable supersession or alternative for 90119-12069?
