If you haven't seen the banner on their website, Harbor Freight has deals on their ICON boxes that were damaged in shipping: Scratch and Dent Sale - Harbor Freight Tools

If you want a roll cab, you pretty much have to haunt the site because they go quickly. The top boxes and overhead cabinets are fairly frequently available. The end cabinets a little less so.

They rate them as Excellent (minor scuffs), Great (minor scratches and dents), and Good (moderate scratches and dents) and some of them are missing items, but they're 30% to 45% off and they describe and photograph the damage. If I was in the market, I'd take 30% off for minor scuffs and would consider 45% off for moderate scratches and dents - a lot of the time it's on the back or sides anyway.

This is from a top chest at 45% off that I saw - damaged top corner, scuffs on top, and dented back panel:

Chances are that you won't even notice the top corner of a top chest in your shop, put down a rubber mat to cover the scuffs, and you'll never see the dented back panel.

awesome, thanks for the link. I'm looking for a rolling tool cart but they don't have it in this section at this time.

They do have a parking lot sale this weekend with the 5-drawer tool cart and the 56" cabinet on sale.

The ITC got the deals early - Monday to Thursday. They're open for everyone Friday to Sunday - if things are left.

You mentioned the 4-drawer cart, @alia176

You had originally pictured the 4-drawer, but I have to say I think the 5-drawer is a much better cart. Glad you were able to get the deal!

You're absolutely correct, in some ways the four drawer is better for me because my electric tool tote can be stored on the very bottom open shelf. However, that cart has four swivels which is absolutely a nightmare as a mobile cart as you can imagine.

The five drawer is a little bit too large in some ways but the work surface on top is unsurpassed for my needs. Unfortunately my electrical tool tote will not fit at the very bottom shelf no matter what, a small price to pay. I'm not going to break up my electric towed so I'm thinking another set of electric tools is in order.

Thanks again for your alert!

For anyone who hasn't swapped out their old 3-ton jackstands, you can basically do it for free with their upcoming Spring Black Friday Sale.

The sale runs Monday, April 10th to Thursday, April 13th for ITC members and then Friday, April 14th to Sunday April 16th for everyone.

You get can get a $29.99 store credit (with tax added) for the 3-ton jackstands and the 3-ton jackstands are on sale for $29.99 during the sale.

Even without the credit for the old ones, 40% off is pretty crazy in itself for something brand new.

By the way, if you're an ITC member the code is automatic. In the past, I used the coupon and it came up as the lower "regular" discount (10% here).

Parking Lot Sale going on right now for ITC members.

The 10% isn't that great, but if you have the ITC membership the 20% starts making some decent deals.

It's a good time to get those things that rarely go on sale. With an ITC membership:
Just some ideas. Any one of those except for the welding table will save you more money than the $45 cost of a 2-year ITC membership. The welding table will save you more than the $30 cost of a 1-year ITC membership.

The fella at work has a HF Chief and a Berkling right angle die grinder. He says the Berkling has more cajones so I'm going to purchase one unless someone tells me otherwise. Price for both is close to each other so that's a wash. I have an IR unit at home that I'm not bringing to work!! The two units in question are "meaty" which makes them easier to work with long term.

Our shop air is a rock solid 125psi and all the fellas are running their air tools at that pressure. Nobody seems to care about regulating that down to 90psi, like I do at home so the longevity of their air tools is something I'm paying attention to.
