Need recommendations for a cheap, yet reliable, tach to see RPM while adjusting timing, idle, etc.

Thanks!

**** Ooops. I should've posted this in "Outfitting". Oh well. *****

A cheap dwell/tach from the auto parts store. Tells rpm and dwell, which is the number of degrees the points are open. Proportional to gap and more accurate than a feeler gauge. Should be switchable between 4, 6, and 8 cylinder. I think mine cost ~$15 a LONG time ago.
