uhh..

That is a lot of sludge in there. Crap....

I ordered the brake line from the frame to the axle Stainless Steel Braided Rear Brake Line-19 1/2 inches long-Fits 7/70-7/80 FJ40 from SOR.

They told me the only way to get the front axle brake lines is to buy the whole set. It is $270. Mark at sor said we can probally make one is that possible?

Did you get the one for the front axle ?

That is the one i was telling you about.

Yes, now wondering after what you told me on the phone. You told me he had some of it apart and cleaned it up inside. Wondering if he just washed it all down below, but knew what the bottom side looked like.

I can order the rotors and new calipers for the front disc brakes from Autozone for a pretty resonable price. For the rear I can order all the parts from Currie depending on what is needed. Anything from a whole drum kit for ($389) and drum rebuild kit for ($100) I'm going to stop by autozone tomorrow to see what they can order me.

I will be taking the exuast/intake manifold off tomorrow. I will be in touch.

Here are a few pics of the manifold I removed from my other engine. Seems to be in pretty good shape. Darin I will call u this evening about brake stuff

Can you get some pics close up like i have above. From like where the carb is mounted looking close up on where one port of both the intake and exhaust are in the pic.

Sorry but need to see a close up of that area to get an idea of what we have here.

Well see on the turn around time. Down here people take for ever to do stuff. If I can't get it done by fri will this be a problem?

I don't even think that needs to be machined. If it's flat as it comes off the motor then I'd say skip the machine shop and run a quality, OEM manifold gasket.
