Worst case scenario it does not get a good seal and has to be redone later on.

Best case scenario it works just fine like it is.

Another scenario is you use one of those new thicker gaskets if it does not seal right and it will with the thicker one.

Now to get the front / rear end apart tomorrow.

Also,

Need to get a good head count here for food / drink.

Think i got a few from around here that will be joining. Like 2 beside me.

Also final count on what all will be getting done in shop.

what time are you starting. i will be there. Garrett and the family might stop by after his soccer game (maybe around 2:30) Hannah wanted to see the horses. and I wanted to show Jeanette what a real garage looks like. :D

I believe as of right now the following are comming: Adam, Johnny, Eric, Mike, Ryan, Del, Darin and 2 others.

Did I miss anyone? Let me know ASAP.

Having work done: Adam, Del, Johnny and Mike.

Anyone else?

Food: I will bring burgers/dogs, buns and condiments.

Johnny: Some chips maybe some potato or mac a roni salad?

Del: Can you bring some water, pepsi or other drinks.

Mike: Can u bring your grill, coffee and plates, napkins, untilsils to cook with.

Is this ok with you guys?

Darin is there anything else you will need for this weekend?

What time is everyone arriving on Sat? I will be coming in from out of town so do you mind if I show up with my tow rig and 40 on my trailer?

If there is time would like to fix my park brake. got the parts to rebuild the drum brake behind the tcase. dont know if my new rear shock mounts, and shocks will be here before I leave.

c u guys in a week.

DEL

Show up anytime people want.

Can i get a break down as to who is doing what to each vehicle please.

I know Adam's as it is here. Doing front / rear axle / soft lines for brakes / clutch. Intake / exhaust manifold. Getting it running. Also putting on oil pan. This one will be on lift.

Also know Mike is going to switch axles. I have 4 big jack stands for this, can we get 4 more large so we can have both in air at one time ?

Johnny, what do you plan on getting done on 60 while here ?

Del, with his parking brake. Can be done on ground / maybe on lift later.

Am i missing anything here ?

Also, anyone planning on staying the night ?

Adam, sounds good. I'll bring that stuff no problem.

Darin, the things I hope to do are mounting my new tires, possibly getting those switched and then giving the new body a good once-over, reviewing the cut lines for chopping the rockers and quarters.

Also, Laura has to work so if anyone wants to ride with me from Raleigh to Darin's is more than welcome. Moonshine is a 2 seater so I only have room for one aside from myself.

Know when you will be able to get this from me.

Depends on two things, how bad you want it out of your shop and my financial situation. I'm lining up some extra shifts to pay for this quicker, but if you need it gone, say, before Turkey Day then I can most likely make that happen.

By x-mas time would be great for my better half. As soon as it is out it opens the garage for me to start working on her 55.

Do you need help hauling it out?

We are going to put this on his frame one day soon.

Ok, cool. If you want, we can skip the rocker and quarter cuts to get it on faster. I'll just go back and do that later.

I'm still waiting for Mike to see if he can brings his grill and a few other things. I will give him a call this afternoon.

Darin do you need anything else?

Anyone else plan on attending?

Mike was over the other day and said he was bringing his grill.

All i can think of right now is 4 large jack stands and maybe some more air line hose with more air tools if people have them.

I have an impact wrench I can bring, but it's currently missing a chuck, as in the part that the air hose clips on to.

Brake stuff..

Autozone had my calipers in stock, ordered the rotors (will be in tomorrow) they also have all the parts I needed to rebuild the drums in the back. The onlly issue I may have with the rear brakes is if the drums can not be turned. Then I will have to customer order from currie.
