It was suggested that I post up a HAMOM request, so here it goes...

When: 2/7/15, 9am until...
Where: My house in Concord, NC PM for address
Why: Because I have to clean up a quart of fluid every week
What needs to be done:

Rebuild birfs, possibly replace the front 3rd member gasket
Replace oil pan gasket
Replace rear main seal
Drop the trans/TC to clean and reseal, possibly rebuild (not that day)
Rebuild rear axle, at a minimum replace the pinion seal

All of the above depends on how many show up I guess.

I have room on my driveway for approx. 2 more cruisers if you want to work on your own junk.

Anyone is welcome to come over and work or just watch and drink beer. I have a few gearhead neighbors that love to watch and drink beer, so you won't be alone. I will have the grill going with burgers and dogs and plenty of domestic light beer, I'm not much of a beer connoisseur. BYOSB (Bring Your Own Special Beer).

Post up if you can make it.

Thanks,

I'm in

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to it.
I don't have any extra bunks but I do have 4 very comfortable recliners if you need a place to crash.

I'm going to try to make this but I can't say yet for sure.

What kind of heater do you have? I have a propane jet heater that will blast us out real quick with no temp control. So you have to cut it off and on a lot, making fumes. If yours is a radiant heater that might work better.

Mine is like yours. I typically leave my garage door cracked when its in use.

I dont think i can make it. Family is leaving back to vzla that day.

Made a sticky and updated the title for visibility!

Almost ready for the HAMOM. I spent most of today cleaning the garage including the parts washer. That thing had not been cleaned since we rebuilt the birfs in @FJinTegaCay 40. Good news, there was not any hardware laying in the bottom.

I have a box of gaskets ready to go, if I can figure out where they go. I need to get some fluids and few more odds and ends.

As I was cleaning today I came across some things to get rid of. Check out the for sale thread for details.

I would like to help but will likely have a salon remodel happening that weekend

I'm still trying to confirm when I'm done with work in Saturday and how early that'll let me get there. I'll do whatever I'm told when I'm there.

Brad, are you still planning the original megalist of jobs listed in post #1 or is it slimmed down a bit?

I'm still in.

I was thinking, my Cummins could use a valve adjustment. Can we add that to the list?
