"Halo" Headlights for 80 Series

Has anyone installed these? I just saw several of them listed on ebay and was hoping to see a picture of them installed and to hear if they compar at all to the OME headlights on the 80s, which I think are above average already (especially the brights).

I just ordered mine two days ago. I was waiting for their price to drop!! I heard its better lighting but in the end I will use them for a xenon projector retrofit! So to me it's only about the casing. I did a retrofit for my 87 4runner and it came out great!

IMO they look good, but due to their low price, (I read that whole thread like a week ago) I agree with some of the nay-sayers about the potential quality. Time will tell though.

Some people think they look nice, but the light output quality will not match what you can get with OEM housings with HIR(~$10-$25) lights installed. Look in the 80 series faq for the thread on HIR or lighting upgrades. FWIW, I think those replacement halo housings look out of place, on the 80 series.

Actually, these lights are Rodney Dangerfield reincarnated as they get, "No Respect!"

To be honest, I wish they would stop selling these lights period cause I wanted my rig to be different from others and if peeps start buying them up, I'll have to order some Euro's from Mot to be so!
So I'll make my last pitch here!

"DON'T BUY THIS JUNK! GO FOR HIR BULBS AS IT WILL BE EASIER ON THE WALLET AND THE LIGHT OUTPUT YOUR LOOKING FOR!"
