he's left fairly little to get surgical with, thankfully:cheers: it's going to be a straight forward cut and paste, with the minor bend to fit;) they are simply beautiful

Met Danimal tinite and unloaded a generator he's been tryin to sell for 5 years at one of my clients places. Coool dude. He drove 4+ hours with a loaded trailer full of generator propane tank and some headers to fix the NAAASTy exhaust leak I seem to have developed.

got the fj62 auto trans cross member mounted, need to shim the output bearing on the Tcase, mount the clutch cover yada yada yada. 3FE exhaust manifolds...y'know the drill

That just looks so good! Flatbed with a RTT rack and drawers under. I know it's a work truck, but some day :hhmm:

LAMBCRUSHER, looks awesome engine running good too.

Thanks Bob.

thanx, Bob. we'll see bout the engine before weekout...just got some 3fe exhaust manifolds all electrolysed and oiled and cured and milled and bolt bosses ground to match 2f intake...got some flanges gaskets and pipe and see if I can't fix the exhaust leak before running her anymore:frown: got the first 500 done, break in oil changed, head retorqued and valves re-lashed. if I can get the breathing worked out...should be able to tell ya what 4 grand feels like:hillbilly:

Lambcrusher,

That's alot of work on those manifolds. Is that oil curing like curing a fry pan? Won't rust?

I hope this solves your leak problem.

LAMBCRUSHER, Where are the Burgers and Barkers, Oh and PORK RIBS.

Thanks Bob.:):beer::beer::beer:

it wasn't difficult work, mostly waiting:mad: and a bit of research and prep and then it was just a bit of grinding, bending and welding. Now the axle was alot of work! the oil cure is exactly like curing cast iron cook ware, supposed to just keep getting darker...I hope it solves the leak too.
The ribs are waiting till the trucks runs great! no time to celebrate now.;) got the pipes done, just gotta plug the EGR fitting and make some hangers
