H150F or H151F into 2h or 12ht

Has anyone done this conversion? Does toyota have a bellhousing that will fit the 2h block from the h150 or h151f? The old h55f just isnt up to scratch, never has been. Looking for a better box for a custom 75 series build. Thanks

If you are in Australia it’s probably going to be a lot easier to do due to proximity and availability of parts. In the USA you might be just as well considering one of the US based truck 5 speeds both from cost and strength perspective.

I am from aus I have just heard a 3f 80 series bellhousing and adapter may work so I am seeing if anyone had done it, might have to bite the bullet and test it myself

Given the number of Toyota engines and transmissions and aftermarket adapters it’s certainly possible. And without a doubt something custom can always be done. Always comes down to resource limitations though.
