hey all I have inherited a 75 series with a 12ht in it from a 60 series runs good however won’t shut off. Iv done a tone of research and replaced the vac lines to the vsv still won’t shut off looking at the the vacuum pump my fitting only has one port that’s solid and not the one to hook the vacuum hose to pic 1 is like mine when I assume I need pic 2

Hi mate, your assumption is correct, you need the fitting with the extra nipple. That is the vacuum tap for all the engine accessories including the shutdown VSV.
Or a tee hose fitting from the single port and take two hoses feom the tee out to needs including vsv?

That one small port is completely solid no hole in it for vacuum so essentially it only has the large pipe.

It would seem that they where taking vacuum from the intake iv ordered a vsv in case it’s cooked, would you happen to know what that part is called I can’t find it anywhere online, also when i remove that fitting it does have oil in it is that normal.
It looks like you have a alternator off a 2H, is it 12v?

Hey yeah it’s 12v the original motor was 2h so it could be.

I’m assume that the large pipe is for the booster vacuum would it be ok to add a t piece to that and take vacuum from there
You might as well tap off the line to the vacuum tank, it will be easier than finding the correct fitting.
