Yeah, I am investigating all the options.

I dislike how much the Iron Man bumper sticks out, but it looks like the best option for my use case.

i cant justify the premium for an ARB from Slee.

I am hoping I can save the custom grill, but its definitely borked and may not be saveable.
Because you have that nice grill and all, how about one of those discrete lower winch bumpers from Victory or?

I need full headlight protection for animal strikes. With how many miles I drive its just a matter of time before I hit a prong horn or mule deer, especially averaging the miles I do.

That will save the top half of the grille.

Take a look at the Lil B's front bumper. It's about the same price as an Ironman and I think you can get a full headlight bar on it.

I only saw a pre-runner option. I did reach out to a shop that installs them just to make sure, but haven't heard back.

I have a quote for an Ironman from one shop and getting a quote for an ARB from Slee.

I would really like to do a winch at the same time.

Ironman doesn't list the premium bumper with the parking sensors anymore and the classic has been out of stock for over six months. Are they moving away from supporting the GX460?

I have seen the Classic in stock in multiple places. I never use my parking sensors.

I also see that the foam cell pro shocks for the GX have been out of stock for some time now, although they are available in the lift packages.

Its possible some sites say they have it in stock when they dont. The Ironman dealer quoted it as if it was in stock.

So far I've only needed it a few times, but for the past 7 years, this has been a great winch.
Several reasons I like it:
  1. It's water proof, no worries about fording streams or running it submerged.
  2. It already has synthetic line, which is light and floats on water. AND no wire splinters!
  3. Has a tethered remote, but will also do cordless. I don't like cordless, since I don't use it often enough and don't need to be stuck and find my batteries are dead in the remote!
  4. It's a pretty compact design.

I think its more likely that stuff is all stuck in tariff/shipping hell at the moment.
Thats and the GX460 is getting to that age and price where its going to start becoming much more popular to build
