Tahoe just got buried & I wanna go soooooo bad. Too far for a day trip though.
Drove from LA to Phoenix yesterday late afternoon, and you could see it from the I-10, tons of snow on the mountainsIt's been interesting on this side of the mountain. Snowed all night, got like 5+ inches in town (I'm in Reno) but I can't wait to make my way up into Tahoe or down into Mammoth. The Mammoth area got slammed as well with several feet.
I'd suggest staying up in the Tahoe rim for skiing (e.g. Heavenly, Homewood, Kirkwood, Mt. Rose, etc.) Mammoth will be an absolute zoo this next weekend with all of So. Cal. (and associated crazies) heading up.It's been interesting on this side of the mountain. My wife and I had the same experience. We both had our won 100 series LC's and loved them, but when we got rid of them and got the GX, it took everything to a new level of appreciation. Could never go back to a "hundy".Big change after 15 years with my 100 series.. Bittersweet day, but loving the GX more than I ever thought I would.

Great choice on breeds. My wife and I have a Dutch Shepherd Malinois. She has been a great addition to the family, prior to her my dog was a Boxer and we also had a s***zu Maltese. Both have crossed over the rainbow bridge.Meet my new co-pilot, Jenga. I adopted her from the local humane society about a month ago. She is an 8 month old Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd mix. Unfortunately, she and 2 of her siblings were mistreated by the owners and they were forced to surrender the pups. Don't know if they kept mom and dad. But she was fostered by one of the humane society employees for about 5 months before being put up for adoption. I have wanted a Malinois for quite some time and when I saw her I just knew I had to have her. She doesn't let me leave her sight, which is typical for the breed. We start obedience training on 1/06/23 and I can't wait to be able to bring her on some adventures. These dogs are so smart, loyal and only want to please you. She is an energetic handful but we are figuring things out together. A couple pics in the GX to keep this on point.View attachment 3203420

Do you know if she has been fixed? If not I would let her go through a couple heats that way her shoulders/hips fully develop so down the road you do not have to worry about medical issues with these athletic does.
This is our puppers.
