Great looking dog.

She has not been fixed but is due to be on Feb 7. It was a condition of the adoption from the humane society. I will check with them to see if there is anything we can do to postpone it but I doubt they will let that happen.

Just be honest with them and state what I said about her shoulders/hips not fully developing if she hasn't gone through a heat. The estrogen associated with a heat cycle helps them develop fully. Amazon has diapers you can get for them so you don't have to clean up the blood, also the dog will clean themselves pretty well but seeing them do that is disgusting

Hey guys! glad to be part of the crew. flew to LA from NY to get this 06 white/grey/nav truck. single owner, dealer serviced. very clean. drove it home with two good friends. GREAT TIME.

Welcome and congrats! Now you just need to purchase a GX 460! (ha-ha-ha)
Seriously, that looks great for an '06! These GX's are truly amazing for comfort, quality and off road ability. You will get many miles of smiles out of it!
Here's the GX 470 forum link: GX470 / Prado120 - https://forum.ih8mud.com/forums/gx470-prado120.237/
Remember that your GX shares a lot with the 4th Gen 4Runners (Toyota 120 series of trucks), like some of the armor that goes underside and how-to videos. So keep an open mind when looking for mods for your rig.
Enjoy and Cheers!

I've been in the FJ40, 55, 70 and 80 club for a few years now, and my lovely bride surprised me last week and said she wanted to play too.

Saw a 2017 GX 460 Premium in this dark blue color she just had to have.

Oswald.jpg

It's a 1 owner from California with 78,000 miles, and is the cleanest car I've ever seen. (I'm originally from the upper midwest, so....)

She named it "Oswald" and I get to play with it and do some light mods.

Congrats! And welcome to the forum and a whole new level of comfort in four wheeling!! ;)

It looks a little tall. Is that because the suspension hasn't been worked in yet?
Combination of everything needing to settle and getting front springs to accommodate my bumper, skids, and the near-future addition of a winch.

Should be ~2inch front and 2-2.25 rear lift and currently sitting at +3 Front, +2.5 rear. My wife said the tires look small now so I guess I'll have to do something about that.

Got my Dobinsons MRAs installed over the weekend and did a shakedown run to GX's natural habitat.

This is the set-up I'm interested (not as high though, so I'll be very interested in your performance reviews on and off-road! 🤙 🤘 🤘

Need to let everything settle, get an alignment, and get a couple things like panhard correction and KDSS spacers installed before I really deep dive into getting the shocks adjusted and reviewed but the on-road first impressions are very good.

And once everything settles and I get the winch added I'm shooting for ~2-2.3 inches of lift all around. Droop travel is the overlooked key to good suspension so I'll take more travel vs a tiny amount of extra ground clearance all day.

Which panhard and KDSS drop kit(s) are you going with??

COPY THAT!!

I have Treaty Oak KDSS spacers for the rear bar and Dr. KDSS relocation brackets for the front. I went with the Dr. KDSS bolt on panhard kit.
