The search is finally over. Picked up a 2-owner 2011 with 81K miles for $18K. Service records are a bit thinner than I would like but oil changes were done every 7K miles and the secondary air injection pumps were replaced. The seller just put on a new set of Michelin tires so I'll be wearing them until I get the itch for more aggressive shoes.

Finally got my recovery points installed on the 4Rnr. It was a slight pain in the a$$ with the floating nut whem trying to maneuver around the suspension brackets.

Now, just be sure to keep a couple of shackles and a tow/jerk strap in your rig!

Have a big install with a lot of updates coming in a couple weeks (front CBI bumper/winch/front & rear skids, dual baja designs light bars, snorkel. Last pic before the update.

A second image from a fun trip last week... A bit of digging and maxtrax to get over a late season snow berm at about 7,000ft elevation...
Just bought our 2017 Luxury Model in February (right as the virus hit) and swapped out the airbags for springs and did the 3" Dobinson's MRR Suspension and added the wheels and 285/70/17 tires. We have had some fun already with it (even did some fly-fishing/camping) and still need to add the drawer system, custom small diameter tube brushbar with lights, HAM radio and figure out which roof rack system (hoping someone will make cool crossbars for our GXs).

Anyone else getting ready for September?
Nope, I no longer bow hunt (kinda miss it), but I am shooting a lot of clays as of late and I sent the old Beretta 687 off to Coles in NH for some new ejectors/extractors after 19 years to be ready for Upland season in October. I need to get a new set of waders before waterfowl season too.
