I'm still trying to crack 92k on my '12... got it with 34,812 miles in early '17

GX Price trends by model year

Does anyone with an Ironman Bumper regret getting it over the ARB?

Nevermind, they have been discontinued.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll probably list it here on the forum first eventually but fwiw, here's the lowdown:

It's a Premium, 48k mi, 3rd owner, bought it with 32k in 2021. SoCal truck since new, I have all service records since new. No crashes or dents, original paint etc (Knight's Armor Pearl with black leather). In great shape, everything works except the front USB and the cupholder door will stick closed. Otherwise no issues.

It's got stock 470 wheels (17s) with 265/70 Wildpeaks. I also put the factory Canada market trans cooler on and stainless braided brake lines, 3rd row delete. I put a Bilstein 6112 front kit and 5160 rears on a few thousand miles ago. I set the lift to be pretty modest (~1.6") to keep things reasonable, plus I kept (and really like) the rear air suspension. It's a pretty modest "build" if you can call it that, but it strikes a very civilized balance IMO as a do-it-all on and off road truck.

It's been on a handful of off-road trips in the Sierras but my life has changed radically in the past year and it's not getting used much of late.

With it being modified the price will drop. The majority of available buyers are going to want a completely unmodified factory vehicle. Can you return it to stock and sell the aftermarket parts?

More taillight stuff. I tinted (painted?) mine a while ago in July of 2023, and they've faded into a light pink. I didn't clear them, and the Nevada high desert sun is pretty harsh. So I've redone them, this time with a UV protecting clear. We'll see how long they last. So far, I'm in about $45, but if these don't work I'll just buy a set of sport tails and get it over with haha.

Cross posting, I finally posted a picture of my wheel/tire setup:

Felt a weird shift in 4LO (info in same post) but MeefZah responded it was normal.

Lil Bs will.be adding a headlight hoop option to their GX460 line very soon. Should be announced in a few weeks.

I decided I'm not going to reinstall my second row seats since I never have second row passengers, and I'd rather have the storage space available.

The platform I built is just raw plywood and initially I wasn't going to cover it or paint it, because when I'm camping it's already covered with all my stuff; but if I'm going to leave it in there all the time I wanted it to look a little nicer. I found this diamond plate rubber mat sold by the foot at Home Depot (online, not in store) made by a company called Rubber-Cal. I ordered enough to do the entire cargo area, and so far it looks pretty awesome. Time will tell how durable it is.

That actually looks very good. 😁

Agree, looks very professional (and useful). Being able to sit up inside the rig when camping in it would be awesome. That's the one problem with sleeping on an elevated platform (over drawers) - you can't sit up to change etc.

I normally have a couple of dog beds on it. I am planning on making something new that extends to the first row, maybe with cargo netting to keep the Huskies inside.

@Hiluxforever Do I remember correctly that you had the Bridgestone dueler revo 3 for a while?? Looking for a very light duty all-terrain that has good road manners and don’t get loud for the wife’s 460.

Highly highly recommend, but they are out of production. Would expect the Ascent AT is. Worthy replacement. Its on the short list for Alex's 4runner. Revos in some slick gumbo like mud
